Shoes: Measuring your feet
In order to ensure proper shoe fitting, we suggest you to do the following two simple measurements:
- Length: Holding the pen straight up, draw the outline of one of your feet lying flat on a piece of paper. From the outline of your foot, measure the length of your foot from the heel to the longest toe (Distance L in the figure)
- Thickness: By the help of a measuring tape, measure the thickness (T) of our foot at the boney part near the joint of the toes (the widest part of our feet).
For more accurate results, repeat this measurement for your other foot (our feet sizes may slightly vary). In the following part take the biggest measures into consideration.
Note: Sometimes the width measure (W shown in the footprint) is also referred, however this is not a very reliable measure, since our feet get enlarged when we step on. Therefore we will prefer the T measure here.
Shoes: Conversion charts
The following tables gives approximate dimensions of different shoe sizes available at our store. Choose a shoe size that surely encloses your feet. When considering the tickness measure, do not forget that leather has a few milimeters expansion rate when used.
